This month I’ll be heading West to teach my Calligraphy classes at the stunning Pythouse Kitchen Garden in South Wiltshire. This place truly is a little gem hidden away in the countryside, and a really warm, welcoming location to spend a morning learning a new skill.
At PKG we are driven by the delightful way the seasons can play on our senses. Whether you are savouring homegrown produce in the restaurant, celebrating warm summer nights under canvas or letting your imagination run wild in the garden, we hope you’ll agree, there’s no corner of England quite like this one.
I love the ethos of PKG - all their ingredients are grown in the walled garden or sourced locally, the staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the wood burning stoves really make for a nurturing and warm environment to hole up in, especially on a chilly March morning. I wanted to choose a location for my workshop that aligns with my values and sense of slowing things down and being in the moment, and I’m lucky enough to have found PKG right on my doorstep.
So why not take some time out of your busy day to come and slow down, learn an ancient art form and really nurture your senses for a few hours. You’ll leave feeling refreshed and proud of the new skills you’ve acquired and people you’ve met.
