Ordering:

Before placing an order, if you have any queries please contact me on 07730 257 183 or please email gemma@gemmamilly.com. All designs and illustrations are the copyright and property of Gemma Milly. Neither you, nor a third party, may copy any part of the design or reproduce it in any way. It is your responsibility to obtain permission for any copyright material, for example portraits, hymns or poems that are to feature in your stationery.

Estimates & Deposits:

Please note that quotes are valid for a period of 30 days. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before any design or illustration work will be carried out. It is the policy of Gemma Milly that the balance be paid in full, upon receipt of your final invoice and before any printing commences, unless by prior arrangement with Gemma Milly.

Cancellation:

Should an order be cancelled, I must be paid in full for any work that is either in progress or completed.

Refunds:

Gemma Milly prints all stationery for every customer. As a standard policy we only make refunds and exchanges if goods are faulty. Any faults or defects must be relayed in writing within three days of receiving your order and your complete stationery order returned to us, in its entirety, packed securely so as to avoid any damage likely to be incurred during transportation. The cost of return delivery will be incurred by The Client.

If your wedding stationery if it is deemed to be faulty on the part of Gemma Milly we will be happy to correct or replace your stationery with the same, or, if it is not possible to resupply your stationery with the same, we will offer an alternative or similar replacement. Please note that this does not apply to commissioned portraits.

Gemma Milly will offer you a refund for the amount paid for the faulty part of your order if we are unable to correct or replace your stationery. Gemma Milly will only offer a full refund if the order is faulty in its entirety. Please note that this does not apply to commissioned portraits.

Returns:

Please note that I cannot accept returns due to customer input or typographical errors. When your final proof is approved you accept responsibility for any errors. If mistakes are discovered after final printers proof approval, we will charge for any reprinting.

Revisions & Amendments:

Bespoke designs include up to three rounds of amends. Additional amends or changes to your stationery outside of this will be charged at my hourly rate of £46.

For Collection stationery – a maximum of two rounds of amends are included in the total cost; anything above this will be charged at my hourly rate of £46.

You are responsible for the proof reading of all text and copy in the pdf proofs supplied – please refer to my proofing checklist when approving your proofs. I do strongly recommend that you print your pdf proof in order to view it to the correct size. I will not begin print production until I have received written sign-off from you referencing the correct proof to proceed with.

If you require your stationery by a specific date, artwork approval and final sign off must be given by the deadline stated by Gemma Milly, otherwise I cannot guarantee you delivery date can be met.

Any last minute changes or addition to your stationery past the agreed deadline or within a week of your wedding date, must be agreed with Gemma Milly in writing and will be charged at an hourly rate of £46. This is at the discretion of Gemma Milly.

Printing Variations:

Please note that samples may not exactly match the finished product due to variations in the print production process. Press set-up, plates, ink and paper can all result in small variations. Minor differences in texture, colour, size and positioning can sometimes occur and do not constitute a fault or a refund.

Please be aware that colours will appear differently on screen compared to the finished printed product. If unsure always request a Pantone swatch to approve. Printers proofs are also available upon request at an additional cost of £20 per proof.

Wear & Tear:

Gemma Milly accepts no responsibility for the effect of ageing and wear & tear on the materials used.

Copyright:

Gemma Milly holds the copyright to any designs and illustrations we create for you during the design process, and reserve the right to re-use these designs and illustrations to promote our products and services. Once your wedding stationery is complete, the full rights to your artwork will be handed over to you to use as you wish.The Client has no right to use the artwork for any type of marketing, unless directly related to their wedding, without the prior permission from the Designer, Gemma Milly. If the Client wishes to use any of the artwork on other wedding-related materials, such as a website, a credit to the Designer must given.

It is your responsibility to obtain permission for any copyright material, for example portraits, hymns or poems that are to feature in your stationery.

Delivery:

All orders for next day tracked courier must leave the studio by 12 noon. If you need your stationery urgently please advise in advance, as multiple orders may be leaving the studio on any given day and it may not be possible to guarantee a delivery date.

Deliveries via Royal Mail will be sent 1st class non-tracked. If you required a tracked service please advise and this will be quoted for on an individual basis.

Please note that after the agreed deadline I shall not be liable in any way for late delivery of your stationery on the part of the courier - you take full responsibility for this.

Our Working Relationship

I like to work with nice people! The nature of our working relationship will be a partnership, and as such I will treat you with respect. In return I shall expect to be treated with respect throughout the entire process and will not tolerate any kind of bullying or abuse, verbal or written. If this happens, I reserve the right to terminate your contract and any design work undertaken, up to that point, must be paid for in full.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from gemmamilly.com (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).   • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We may also use Device Information, when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, to provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Paypal and Etsy to power our online store.
